KENTER INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS WAS OPENED
In 2010 we opened our Head Office in Brisbane, QLD Australia. It came about at the request of many clients when the founder left to have a family. Due to the support of long term clients Emily was able to give them both the service and outsourcing help they needed while balancing family life. This is where the core principles have been founded that Kenter see the partners we work with as an extension of our own office. We strive to achieve superior collaboration and idea-sharing to engage worldwide methodologies to keep your cargo moving globally.
TRANS TASMAN TRADE
Coming from New Zealand’s wharf industry and environment many of the founders network could be utilised to our customers advantage. The decision was made to open Kenter International Logistics New Zealand to help Kiwi’s work on an international stage, seamlessly and without fear. By offering boots on the ground in both countries this has enabled many of our clients to trade much easier with currency exchanges, taxes on overseas purchases, consolidating machinery and cargo to decrease international shipping costs, and enter more markets abroad.
USA TO OCEANIC TRADE
The USA is one of the strongest suppliers of Mining and construction equipment to the world. With expertise in this area and the demand from Australia with both New and Used Machinery for our mining boom, we felt the communication levels for our clients with less service oriented agents was not working for our clients down under. The decision was made to open our own office as an NVOCC to create better lines of communication and control over delivery of cargo for our clients high valued cargo’s. I love having to visit San Francisco and see any opportunity to work more in our Californian office as pleasure rather than work !

Me, well I just wanted to raise my kids right. I wanted to still be a part of the shipping industry, but I wanted to be the best mother I can be by giving time to all 3 of them. Time, the great leveler, you have to pick the areas most important to you and only spend your time on that. But that means other people have to pick up the slack, and that's where a team comes in.
